> Flip broken, need signatures badly!

Hello fellow P800 fans!
A while back ago, my flip broke. The left little plastic wing fell off. I returned it to the store, and they told me it was covered by the guarantee. But now today, I got a bill for 510 swedish kroner, thats £40 or $64!!! They tell me I have used force on it and that's why it has broken! I have done nothing more violent than pressing the buttons in flip-closed mode!!!
I know that many of you out there have had their little plastic wings falling off as well. Please, it would mean a lot to me, if your flip has broken too, could you please write a short reply saying so, if it was the right or left wing that fell off and if you needed to use any force to do it. Thank you!

My left wing broke while the phone was in my pocket. I too was charged for the replacement as "Physical Damage" is not covered by the warranty.
However, I noticed that the "wings" or "ears" in newer flips have been reinforced (on newer phones or in replacement parts). Compare it yourself and note the difference in thickness. You will also notice that the spring mechanism of the flip has also been reinforced because the one on the first flips easily broke. I think these changes prove that SE knows that there is a weakness in these parts. But if you already have the new "beefed-up" flip in the first place then you might not have a case coz it does take some force to break the new ones.
Oh, and it cost me around US$8 for the flip so in any case they're overcharging!
