There is no physical reason why you should not jog with the phone (it would even add weight so maybe burn a few mor cal's). There are no moving parts, no HDD heads to destroy, everything is solid state. The only problem would be as has already been stated, if it fell to the ground you would be gutted.

BTW If you can feel the vibrate alert while jogging I would be supprised. Better turn the volume up (or wear the headset for music while you jog).
