I read some posts a while back talking baout people supposedly using their P800 s to over-ride car locking mechanisms etc Although I didn't trake their claims seriously, I was wondering if it is possible to use the phone in a 'broadcasting' role?
It is widely known that we can bluejack people, but would it be possible to use the P800 to actually 'jam' someone else's phone from making\receiving calls etc?
Before anyone gets onto me about the legalities etc I am NOT planning to start jamming people's phones. I was just reading through the old posts and I had this idea. I just wondered if it was possible, its always nice to know what the P800 is capable of even if it would just be theoretical.

Its a bad idea if possible and put into practice, but it is interesting to see what the P800 is capable of. Does anyone actually have a definite answer to whether or not it is possible?

If P800 can do so, it would be xtremely interesting - like a scene in the "Mission Impposible", when Tom Cruise in the Train.

Not sure if it's possible; phones are designed to do the opposite; to allow many phones to operate at the same time.
To get it to jam, I'd guess you'd have to effectively make lots (and lots) of calls at the same time, thus 'tying up' the available slots/'lines' (bandwidth).
I'd guess that the phone functionality is integrated on a chip rather than being programmable.
