how do you remove the operator logo on the t610??

pardon my innocence ... what operator logo? are you talking about the startup screen or the theme/wallpaper?

He is talking about the operator name that's visible when the phone is in "standby". On Nokias, it's possible to remove this text.

I know that you can download a "blank" logo mate, have seen it on some WAP sites for free logos, but I suspect that all it will mean is that you will end up with a white square in your screen instead of anything else.
I had seomthing similar on the gf's 5100 a few weeks back and the above is what happened.

how bout matching the logo's color with the background in case u have a single plain color on the upper portion of your wallpaper.
it will disappear right????

Yes its a good idea but unless the background is a different colour at the bottom you will also loose the time and date
