Hi everyone, apologies if this has been asnwered before - i did search old posts!
I'm trying to synch my phone (T68i) with my laptop (IBM Thinkpad T22) using the inbuilt IR port on the thinkpad.
I've installed all the requierd software from SonyEricsson and version 4.4 trial of XTNDConnectPC. When I try and synchronise the two, I get an error message saying that "some of the IR software components are missing". I've tried re-installing everything and this doesn't help. I don't think it's the IR software thats at fault as the link has successfully been used to send background files accross to the phone.
The port is working correctly in the properties and is enabled on COM2 in the bios. Is this a problem with XTNDConnectPC? I haven't set up any specific settings in the phone itself as i assumed this was done by the computer software - is this wishful thinking on my part?!

Oops, should have mentioned that i'm using Windows 2000 and synching with notes 5.
