Is there any way (ie - in a later firmware version, I still have the original one) to stop the message tone midway through? I find it rather annoying if you are looking at your phone when you get a message or delivery report and you cant stop it from making the noise.
Any ideas?

Sorry, I am using a T610, I think it is the basic firmware, I know it is, actually, I can't do all the shortcuts with the camera and that kind of stuff.

I have just tried it on my T310 and it works the same way as muting call tones: press the 'c' key while the tone is playing. It is of no use for the T310, however - the tone is too short. If you have longer tones on the T610, them maybe it's useful...
