Hello i have been unable to get GPRS on my T-610 using O2 since i purchased it on friday. I returned to the store today to try another phone and the guy in the shop also owns a T-610 and is having the same problem. I called SE services today and they advided that i take it to a service center.

When i put the sim in any othe phone it works straight away so i dont understand, i would just like to know if anyone has gprs on a T-610 working on O2 so i know it is possible before i start messing about going to service centers etc, your setting may be helpful too.

Ps. I have now tried this with 2 O2 sims which both work fine in other phones.

Thanks for any help
Andy

My T610 on 02 UK works fine (most of the time). You can get the settings from www.o2.co.uk. Obviously you need it to be activated by 02. Btw are you on pay n go, contract or 02 online? Mine's on 02 contract.

Yeah im on contract, i have downloaded the settings numerous times from O2 website and called to make sure everything is ok at their end. The fact that both sims work when i put them in another phone suggests in itself that the phone is the problem. And as i said the guy in the O2 shop is the same, he even tried other phones they had in stock and said that none of them worked with his sim. This is so annoying cause it is a great phone. I still have 12 days to return it no questions asked if i want

Could you please post your settings as a compare
Thanks
Andy

I just checked my firmware and its R1A081, Reading around Esato i understand there is a new version R1L. It may be worth a visit to the service center to get this update before deciding to return the phone completely

Thanks

Apparently O2 have been having problems with their GPRS service as they are trying to implement a billing system for pay n go users which isn't around at the mo. I have found it bad all through the weekend but it is ok now.
