i came home later that night and found that all my sms in the inbox got deleted!
it could be either of the following reasons... not very sure:
1. i took out my sim card and put in someone elses' and then put mine back again.
2. my sms memory was full and i kept on getting a lot of msgs, which i couldn't check at the time, so my phone or firmware (R3B003) took the liberty of "making space".
3. one of my friends accidentally deleted all my msgs...but they would have told me if they did so....
i feel its point 1. anyway...if so; did it happen to anyone?

it's a security feature... the SMS messages in the inbox is deleted if the sim card is changed.... save the messages to the sim card if you want to keep them.

I once did d same n i ended up losing all d sms
Its bcoz u saved them on d phone,if u had saved them in d sim card it wil b just fine
Bout reason no 2 seems to b unlikely

Sorry, there is not. besides your phone memory is not endless either, it will fill up eventualy. If you must save them, save them on ur pc.
