are these really a required purchase in today's age? internet prices vary from $40.00-$500.00. my head is spinning with varieties. the sites listing the higher priced cards tend to have REALLY old cell phone models as compatible. the lower priced options, however, only list compatibilities with various windows operating systems. i have the gsm ericsson R520m. seems my $$ would be better spent on either bluetooth or wireless cards/setups. any suggestion appreciated. thnx.
