lots of stuff here about this if you are interested just
its a developers api that does nothing for the device or its functions just by having it. but it will be what lets some cool developer out there bring us innovative products for the cam

Not true, the 3650 was made so much better with a £15 piece of software called Photographer, which allowed you to zoom. It was the best piece of software I had when I had the 3650. (I suppose it just used filters to clean up the image - but whatever it did, it did it really well.)
- we need someone to write something like this for the P800.
