Please write to

Mr Katsumi Ihara
President
Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications
Sony Ericsson House
202 Hammersmith Road
London W67DN

Fax: +44(0)208 762 58 87

with your
request for a firmware upgrade that adds all-day events
ability to the T68i.

This is one of the most sought after features for this phone,
dreamed of by thousands of loyal T68i users around the world.

With the ability to store all-day events in your T68i you would
then be able to truly synchronise your handset with, for
example, Apple's iCal via iSync, or any other sync software for
that matter, without the need for the sync software to translate
all-day into 12:00am-11:59pm.

With all-day events you'll be able to make appointments whilst
on the road with only your phone, safe in the knowledge that
it contains ALL of the items from your calendar so you will
never double book again.

That address again for T68i all-day events firmware upgrade is

mailto:katsumi.ihara@sonyericsson.com

Sync and Enjoy!

This is the 6th time you have posted this across different forums here and there is no need. Most people read most forums.

Just pick the one that is appropriate and post it there!

edit: I am sorry... I made a mistake... its the 10th time you posted this message!

GoH no I have a strong feeling about this being a wind up.

As noted by several others, this same post has been posted in numerous other forums.

Unfortunately, I have a bad suspicion that the receiver of the email will not be very happy

Possibly the poster of this thread has some beef wioth the email recipient?

I dunno but it seems fishy to me.

If there really were a download, it would be on the page under 'downloads' now wouldn't it?

He's not saying that there IS an upgrade available. He's suggesting people e-mail Katsumi Ihara (President, Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications) and you ask for the feature to be added in a future firmware upgrade. Unfortunately, the way he's worded his multiple posts suggests that there is already a firmware available from this man's e-mail address.

I guess he's hoping that Mr. Ihara will get so many e-mails requesting the feature that he'll use his presidential position to get the software developers to add it.

However, as is the case with most 'men at the top', Katsumi Ihara's e-mail is more than likely pre-filtered before it reaches him, so all these requests will go in the Trash!

The really sad thing is...... that IF those emails actually reach the intended recipient... they won't help at all but might do the very opposite.

And aside from that.... it is not impossible that there might not be any major upgrades anymore for a somewhat 'older' model
