I have a Billionton dongle, it only supports com3 & com8-com13.
Now the Compaq iPAQ i have uses com7 as inbound.
Anyone knows how to add the virtual serial com7 to the dongle software?
I couldn't sync it using ActiveSync.

I don't know specifically about the billionton dongle but any COM port (real or virtual) you create should be visible in the FILE - Connection Settings dialogue of Activesync for you to use.
I use the Sony BA1 dongler personally but have set up a couple of other friends pc's with different dongles and in all cases the software for that dongle created a virtual COM port which was visible in Activesync
