Would it be possible to have an emulator of PSX games on the P800???
If So, I will lock myself up with Gran Turismo 2 and never come back again....

erm in short......... No. Although the p800 has a faster cpu than a playstation it does not have the dedicated graphics hardware that the psx has i mean a decent spec pc still has trouble emulating a psx maybe in a couple of years when the ngage and such are on their second revision we may have a phone capable of emulating a playstation

why not wait for the PSP, IT's going to rock, sony even said they are gonna have a camera addon and wait for it, A CELLULAR ADD ON TO TURN IT INTO A MOBILE PHONE AND GIVE IT ONLINE GAMES. I bet my bottom dollar that SE are going to have a tie-in there with the cellular stuff. I can't wait to get my hands on one of those babies, I might even be tempted to get rid of my p800 then, NOT.

It should be noted that Sony is a very very big company. Sony Music and Sony Entertainment do not share much info with each other. Infact they may as well be 2 completely different companies as they are run that way. So I'm not so sure that the PSP's modem/cellular addon will be made by SonyErisson.
Interestingly the first game to be announced for PSP so far is "The Getaway" though that sounds very ambisious. I'm a little speculative as to wether they'll fit all of the 70 sq miles of London streets on to the 1.8 gig UMD

the problem with more advanced game console emu's are that your p800 only has two buttons, the down click on the jog dial and the start key, perfect for game boy colors but not like psx
