Thank you for your e-mail. We have received information this week from head office in Germany that the SX1 is now due to be released in December.
This is common for a phone of this kind due to the level of technical
capabilities. We do not, as yet, have any information on when individual retailers will be launching the phones themselves. I hope this answers your query.

Probably Siemens thinks... what SE did with the P800 we can do with the SX1.... delivering the product up to a year later then initial planned release date... I will confirm tomorrow with siemens netherlands and if so i will just go back to the good old p800...

S55 came out in the uk dec 2002. The prototype sx1 i played with in june seemed okay. At the mobile life convention, london. Nokia must have real problems with symbian and hot swapping memory cards, moving to december is a good move. But only for upgrades from the s55. This message was posted from a T610
