i am thinking of getting my T68i upgraded to R8a and was wondering how long does it take SE to return the phone??

Hey Rimmer,

When I had my T68 upgraded to T68i software it took 20 minutes. They done it whilst I waited. Took the same to do my T610 too. It's quick and painless. Both handsets were done at a service centre.

I used CPW - checked their WWW site for the nearest service centre, took it in and picked it up 3 hours later.

if ur talking about sending it to SE to be upgraded it usually takes around 2 wks...

if ur talking about taking it to a service center then as ev'ry1 is saying

In fact, the upgrade equipment SHOULD comprise charger equipment too, as if the phone runs out of juice during the upgrade, I'm sure I read somewhere that the phone will bite the 'Big One'.....
