Been trying the infared at work with a few friends only to find out it doesnt work.
They mostly have Sharp GX10, and my T610 fails to connect with them via infared ... what could this be ?
Also, I tried BT with a friends T68i and that didnt work either. I think it might have something to do with the Passkey my phone asked for, because the friends T68i didnt request for one. Is there a way to turn the passkey off ?

You can pair with a t68i as I have done so many a time. All ericsson phones have a paskey of : 0000 so type that in to pair to your mates phone and have him/her in your list of BT devices.
As for trying to exchange info via irDA I've found that some makes are not compatible with one another.

my sister has a gx10 and i tried sendin her a ringtone and it failed, i wouldnt of thought it would b my phone. its her own fault for gettin a crap phone!!
