> Problem with Phone Monitor
Bookmark topic
Hi.
I just purchased my SonyEricsson T610 and wanted to connect it to my WindowsXP Home System via IrDA.
Unfortunately I it's not possible to enable any ports in the MPM. As soon as I click on ok and open it again itz back to "factory settings" - COM1 activated and my COM3 and COM4 disabled (nomatter how I set it up before).
Although I tried several Versions of the Mobile Phone Monitor I didn't find the "Troubleshooting"-Option I have been reading of in this Forum - and it's always version 1,0,0,570.
I'd really appreciate your help

1. Download the newest version of SonyEricsson Communication Suite from
here
2. Uninstall
all SonyEricsson software you have installed on your machine (including Communication Suite)
3. Go to "Start menu", choose run, type in "cmd" press OK
4. Command prompt should start
5. Change to directory "C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Communications Suite\Mobile Phone Monitor" (cd C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Communications Suite\Mobile Phone Monitor)
6. Type in "anubisuninst.exe /U"
7. Mobile Phone Monitor should now be removed from your system
8. Restart the computer
9. Install the new Communication Suite

Hi.
Thank you for the quick response. Unfortunately that is exactly what I did yesterday evening several times. I tried to install the MPM on my desktop PC (which doesn't have an IrDA) where it runs just fine.
But on my notebook two pages in the MPM menü are missing and the "advanced" page is completely empty...
It just seems to be a stupid windows problem. Unfortunately I cannot reinstall my system for the next two weeks...so I will just have to wait.
Greetings
