Has anyone had a problem with the camera mine has a feint white line running top to bottom on fairly dark pictures it is quite noticeable.

i also experience the same problem.. is the line colored yellowish? is it a broken line? i'm going bringing it back to the dealer for repair tomorrow.

No problems so far with the camera on my P800 since upgrading the firmware, call the sonyericsson helpline on 08705237237 press option 2 and ask for technical support they should be able to help you. goodluck This message was posted from a P800

The phone has the latest firmware r2d(phone) r3b(cda). You could say that it is a feint yellow/white line runnig all the way down top to botom about a quarter of the way in from the right hand side.

yeah! same as mine. right side.. took some pictures-upload it in your PC then magnify it. you'll see its a broken line.

Hi i dont think that its a firmware problem i have r2d, the problem is the lens probably a faulty cmos lens, how old is yours? I hope to return it to cpw for repair, i bought mine brand new and unopened from ebay and was told that it has the 1 yr manufacturers warranty and can be returned to any repair centre they can enter a code and can tell when the phone was used maybe from the service provider but as all these phones the oldest would be oct 2002 therfore all should be under 12 months old anyway we shall see!

rang cpw and decided to send away to SE service centre to the main centre celestica in telford they will repair and upgrade firmware at the same time. As for telling how old the phone is i asked and the girl said remove the battery and under the two bar codes one is the imei 15 digit number and under the other barcode in the middle (have to look hard) you will see something like 03w20 this means made in 2003 week 20 (02w54 would be 2002 end of december).
