I'm a total newbee - hopefully I'm not posting a stupid question.
I would like to know, if the e-mail client on T610 can be configured for recieving and sending mails on my Hotmail-account? If so, could someone please tell me how to configure my T610
If not, is there any kind og java-app that can be downloaded onto the phone, that will perform the above mentioned tasks?
TIA

The e-mail client can't use Hotmail, as it's a web-based email, and has no POP/SMTP facilities.
There is a WAP site (mobile.msn.com) which should allow you to log onto Hotmail remotely, but there is a problem with the T610, as it uses a HTML browser.
Ever time you sign in, Hotmail redirects you to the HTML passport sign-in page, which doesn't work through WAP. try:

One solution is to put your SIM into an older phone, log-on to MSN, then put the SIM back in to the T610 and don't ever log-off!
Someone else will have to advise on Java programs...!

Theres a java app called hotviewer which is made by reqireless. This supposedly lets you access your hotmail account. However i do not have a hotmail account to test it. I think i got the app by searching on google for something different, but anyway its free so you might as well try downloading it.

Got to
www.mymail.ie on a PC to sign up. They provide a WAP interface to your hotmail account, and they send you a bookmark, so when you select the bookmark all you need to do then is enter a pin number you selected when signing up and you're logged in. It works extremely fast and has a clean user interface, however it doesn't seem to work with attachments at the moment. And of course its free otherwise I wouldn't mention it.. You don't get ads sent to your number either, which is nice.

Yes the reqireless java app works. Download and try it. It worked for me. The only issue here is that it should be used with a non free grps connection or should I say the 'internet' apn. I'm not sure if it'll work with the www apn (which is free) but here in the Philippines, it doesn't
