Hi guys

As you all know, i have a post running so people can submit their ideas for different types of software which i have plans on creating.

Now, this post is a competition post where you can submit your handy hints for the Sony Ericsson P800 and there are 2 Prizes.

1. Person with the Best/most Usefull Hint

Now you are probably wondering what is up for grabs:

1st Prize - Unlimited access to the Website where all the Custom software is Created.

When in the built in browser, open your bookmarks. Then instead of marking, edit, edit, edit (just to edit a bookmark), just tap on the little green icon at the left hand side of the bookmark name, then edit.........much faster!!

Maybe every1 knows this but....to change the shortcuts along the top of the screen, enter the applications menu, view then preferences.....now you can choose any app/game

(posted this as most screenshots I have seen from people, they have always had the default shortcuts)

You could develop an app which uses Clickatell to give P800 users cheap text messages...

Edit: Actually, if you could possibly integrate some sort of T9 in to this then that would be killer! (but possibly not viable).

Second Edit: Aha - I see I have the wrong idea!

ok - here's one...

If you use 2 different APNs - in my case "Orange GPRS Internet" and "Orange GPRS WAP", you may find that it's difficult to tell which one you're connected to - because if you tap the globe and choose "information", it will say...

Connected To: Orange GPR...
Data Sent blah
Data Received: blah

My tip, is to put an "I" or a "W" at the beginning of the APN name. That way you can easily tell.

That might help someone...!

guys here is one...

while using the built in Web Browser, you dont have to press done after entering your username, you can just use the scroller and scroll down to the next text box..

this will only apply to you if you use the small keyboard.

Flip users...
Instead of manually closing all running apps in Tracker to save battery power, use the 'flip closed flush' feature in SMan - saves loads of time

Tip 2 ***********

Grow your thumb nail to a point - saves time removing stylus!

Use Dragonfly's forthcoming Macro tool to automate common tasks, emulate profiles etc.
