> Best way to get into P800 ownership
Bookmark topic
About 3 months ago, I was a Palm user, a Nokia user, and a Sony mp3 player user. One day I finished work and went to the car park to go home with my Palm in my briefcase. A colleague stopped me and we had a chat near my car. Afterwards I got into my car and reversed over my briefcase destroying my Palm. Three days later I was the proud owner of a P800, ditched the Nokia and the MP3 Player and haven't looked back since. So, if you know anyone who is a palm owner, tell them that reversing over it works nicely !

Shame the P800 doesn't function as a briefcase, then you'd be completely covered! LOL

Note for the future: don't leave P800 in the brief case!

i got my p8 bvy pure luck.
my fist nok*a was a 6510, because it was the nok*a id seen that had any stuff i wanted and was small enough to fit into my pocket with my Sony J5 and SonyE T20.
after 3 months the 6510 started to get all the probs that the 8310 (which this model was supposed to remove)
within 10 days i'd taken it to be flashed or fixed 4 times.
After speaking with the shop i'd bought it in, i was given the name of a very helpful guy at SinglePoint who agreed a GOGW replacement. It came in the form of a Motorola T720.
i was happy for about a day, when i realised how transfer unfriendly they were, only offering gprs download or data cable transfer, both to cost.
My mate Matt who first showed me the p800 had a 6month old 7650 at the time and offered a straight swap. After 2 days of playing i agreed.
within 2 weeks one of the security gaurds at work offered to buy it from for £225 cash.
The day after i got the money, i headed straight to town and picked up a p800 for £275 on contract.
The security gaurd has just swapped that same 7650 for an SL55+£20, hoping to exchange that for a P800
Matt has been out and grabbed a p800, one guy i work with has been convinced by mine and got a p800 and i've worked hard on my boss to convince to buy a p800, hes now waiting for the prices to drop and he'll swap his Ipaq for one.
I feel i've done my part.
