I need to know basically if orange will unlock my p800 and how much it would cost for them to do it because i dont want to invalidate my warranty by getting it unlocked by some dodgy geezer down the market.

Anyone got any info for me please

cheers in advance

When you say unlock what do you mean ?that your phone only accepts only orange?

They'll ask you to pay up your remainig line rental (for the remainder of the 12 months since you got the handset), and then charge an unlocking fee on top. Last I heard I think that was 35 quid.

I have never been on orange, I bought the phone brand new but locked to orange so I need to unlock it to take my o2 simcard.

@bossjohnc - so you reckon it will be about 35 quid then

If you got the phone off somebody else, unlocking it through orange is going to be 1000x more difficult.

You could call 07973 100 150 and ask them.

I think you'll be better off getting it done 'down the market', or remotely (if possible).

Generally if they unlock phones they'll just check they're log supplier and be able to do it,

If anyone needs a p800 unlocking in the east midlands area I can do it...
