hasn't anyone wondered how come they have designed that strange and annoying "thing" in the top part of the phone? the rotational piece is independent from it so it only is useful for the hand strap. but man, who uses hand straps. and couldn't they have designed it in a more discrete way...

i'd say most of the people agrees with this, but having said it now i have to say that there could be a strong reason for that shape: it is the external antenna

think about it, it is a smart way of removing the ugly external antenna... and *having* external antenna

I think it's ok (it looks better in live pics) plus I think you have to see it in real live not on your LCD (or CRT) computer screen

I really think the Z200 is one of the coolest designs ever. And about the handstrap. It is not very big in Europe, though it is getting bigger at least in Sweden, people carry the phone around their neck. And in Asia it is really popular.

Here in Singapore, a lot of people, myself included, like to use the hand strap. Makes it less likely to drop your precious T610, and also easier to pull the phone outta your pocket!
