I wonder if it is possible to be always detectable via bluetooh on a T68i. Normaly it is only possible for 3 minutes and you have to return to the menu and select the option again.

Sombody help?

I guess it depends on the manual your operator chooses to give you! Orange UK T68i manual does not describe bluetooth operation modes, only the pairing of devices for synchronisation (although my manual is well over a year old)...

Each time i've bought a phone from orange i have had to go to the website to download the 'real' version - i recommend this to all new users who want to use their phone for more than just making calls... For example, the orange versions are 'simplified' and have more details on orange content and contracts than anything useful.

really, well that is crap. I would have thought they would have given you a standard manual with a separate second orange one.

Anyway... here is the T68i global support page where you can download the SE manuals in your own language.

From the support link here you can download the latest T68i manual....

EDIT: masseur, curse your speed and poise!

I really thank you for your help. I download the latest french version of the user manual but it seems not to be possible for the device to be always detectable. Ok I put the bluetooth ON and the blue light is always blinking but I always have to put the phone on discoverable if I want someone to detect it. The problem is that the phone is discoverable for 3 minutes and after that he ask me if I want to be discoverable for the 3 next minutes and so on.

If I only put the bluetooth on the phone is not discovable.

Someone to help me please

it should be 'seen' by another device searching for it once bluetooth is on, as i understand anyway. Which device are you trying to connect to it? Are you trying to receive somthing from another phone?

no, having bluetooth set to ON is not enough... it must also be discoverable.

Yes you are right, it is not enough to have the bluetooth on you must set the phone on discoverable. But the phone is discoverable only for 3 minutes and I want to be always discoverable as nokia phones.
