In c:\system\install folder there is loads of .sis file which when trying to run them they claim to be corrupted, i have all these apps on my phone and they work fine.
So i tested by deleting mirror.sis and then ran the mirror program and all seemed ok, so are these .sis file surplus to requirements? Can i just delete them?

That's why I've left mine there - I guess it *is* something to do with uninstall (I mean, check their file sizes!).

Yep your correct, cheers...
Thought it might be something obvious!
So where should i look on C:\ drive for stuff that might be worth deleting. I seem to be filling up for no apparent reason!

Unwanted .WAV, .MID, .BMP, .GIF, .JPG files; directories in c:\system\apps\ for apps that you've since deleted, any apps themselves which you really don't use...

I was able to free up quite a lot just by going through and deleting my sent MMSs (I have all the photos backed up) and deleting any wav or midi ringtones that I wasn't using. I figure there is no use having them there if they're not being used. Some midi files are 50kb and bigger and some wavs are 100s of kbs.

DO NOT CLICK THOSE .SIS FILES!
If you do, the phone will say that they are corrupt, and delete them automatically. You will then lose the ability to uninstall those programs from your phone, and will have to do so manually.
