> Best retention deal from Singlepoint ???
Bookmark topic
I am at the end of my 02 contract for my T68i which i sold ages ago!
I sent in the termination letter but singlepoint's retention team called back and offered me 6 months free line rental if i stay on with them.
I am on 500 leisure plus (500mins off peak+25MINS OFF PEAK) or they offered me a free 7250i or t610 of i stayed on the same contract for another year
What do u think? anyone had any better offers? Please be genuine, i only got a week to decide. I liked the 6 months free option....what would u do?
TIA

My mate got a free siemens sl55 (i think that you its called, the sliding one like the 7650brick) when he went to cancel his contract, same one that you have (o2 leisure time plus £20 pm.
I think you should take the free phone, however if you are happy enough with the phone you have at the moment the free line rental is really good.

T-Mobile gave me a free T610 in may and 400 x-net minutes and 50 texts for £30/month. Nearly £20 discount a month!

I think u should accept the deal, it's much better than the one i have now from singlepoint (also T610, such a good phone). i wish they can offer me a new phone and 6 months free line rental.

If I was you i'd leave. I was in exactly the same situation as you a couple of months ago. Sold my t68i then went to o2 store and ported my number from sp o2 to o2 o2 then picked myself up a free t610 on a £30 pm contract (200 xnet mins pm 50 txt pm). Believe it's not worth the hastle in the long run. I'm sure your aware of how unprofessional their customer service is. All you have to do is go into the o2 store tell them what singlepoint is offering you and more than likely they'll match it. If not just shop around, you'll find a good deal in no time. I'd hate to see anyone else have to suffer like I did when I was with singlepoint.
