Bollox, just at work and my boss' phone rang but he was out. When he got back I had my phone ready to bluetooth his brick with a business card. As he picked up his phone to see who called I pressed send. Obviously he picked up his phone and allowed the bluetooth connection to take place as you have to accept it on the 3650.

Anyway he just came up to me and said did you just bluetooth my phone with a business card featuring 'you stink' I was a bit speechless... he knew cos even though I made my t610 not visible by hiding it he still picked up my phones BT name (I don't know how) and from that he traced it back to me

Err I don't think he's too happy... but hey least I succeeded in bluejacking a 3650. Whoopdy Dooo!

Nah we're good mates. I don't think he's actually too pissed off. But still i guess it wasn't a very nice message to have sent him. Oops.

You're trying to PAIR instead of blue jack.

Guys... why not take this to the actual blue jack thread?

Lol that's funnY

Can someone help me, I've got a P800, just now I went to this roadshow and did exactly this:

1) Set my settings Control Panel > Connections > Bluetooth > AUTO
2) Created a contact, then went to Send As > Bluetooth
3) Found two devices, one aclled "Nicholas", the other called "Phone".
4) Tried sending to BOTH of them. Tried it twice. First time my phone said "Failure to connect ... Nicholas (something like that).
Second time it said "Unknown Failure (Or something like that)"

Can anyone help me here?
Do other Bluetooth phones need to have bluetooth enabled to receive the contact??? How about Nokia bluetooth phones?

Help help help! I seriously truly want to have a taste of the thrill of Bluejacking

@xtokiyax

yes, other Bluetooth phones need to have Bluetooth enabled to receive the contact. they would not appear on the list when searching for devices to send your contact to if their Bluetooth was switched off.

you weren't doing anything wrong when you were trying to bluejack at the roadshow; almost always that happens to me. it normally means that the device has moved out of range.
