Hi folks,
Whats ogg format? I've been told it's like MP3 for mobiles, the compression is about 150% and I could 'possibly' put a full CD onto my memory stick?
I guess I need the codec, but how do I convert my mp3's to ogg, and is there an ogg player?
Plus, what's the quality like? OK I don't expect fantastic quality, but what's it like?

Go get an MD ( MiniDisc ) then, I got the MZ-N505 from Sony and I can record 5 hours of music on one 80min MD and it cost maximum 2euros for one .... And the battery life is extremely long.
Note that the one I have is a simple one but it has USB and Infrared and the price was only 200 € when I bought it

theres no point in converting a mp3 to ogg, you wont see any advantages of ogg as youll need to encode at a higher level to get a reasonable sounding ogg from the mp3. you need to rip a cd directly to ogg to be able to see the advantages of ogg.

basically its like an mp3 player... you plug it into your PC and transfer the files across.
its just like having an audio cd and a cd with loads of mp3s on
