Just in case you were wondering what Ericsson has been up to lately...
http://www.ericsson.com/microwave/products.shtml. So the next time your brand new Sony Ericsson crashes you no longer have to wonder where the brilliant Ericsson engineers and programmers that designed your old phone went to...
P.S. Do you think there is a connection between this and and the ongoing blowing chargers crisis? Maybe they inadvertedly squeezed some of that technology in the chargers!

From the Fact's and Figures page on that site:
Year established: 1956
I reckon you would have a hard time finding a mobilephone back then

@nwmq: \"lately\" was referring to their product range, not the company - that's why the link was to their products page not Ericsson microwave homepage. It was just supposed to make you smile, anyway. So chill!

Ericsson's military systems is almost as fun to play around with as

phones...

no... you can't really compare them... playing around with a phone worth ~€430 and communication systems for over €10million is a bit different... but I have done them both, and both are nice to use
