@me2
Welcome to Esato.
The P800 has become, for me allways been, a very reliable phone. Bugs have been fixed in SW upgrades and new apps are being relased continuilsy. All in all a great phone.
The P900/810 will be an improvement/update of the P800 but there is bound to be some bugs in it at first. These will, offcourse, be fixed in later SW releases. It will allso be more expensive than the P800 is today. My guess is to add £100 to the cost of todays 800 price.
So, the choice is really yours to make.
Do you need a new phone now or can you afford to wait...

hi ... tranquil
thanks 4 the infos,
so this means the thing wont be in this year 2003.?
actually WHY ? I need a PDA phone combo.
so I can do PIM & Read My Docs as what I did now carry phone, pda together & sometime pager(so many things in my pocket)
so it's easy when I just carry 1 instead of 2.

At a guess, the P800 probably has 80% of the functionality of a PDA - it can view MS Word/Excel and .PDF files etc.
More and more good software is being produced, almost all at very low cost.
I never owned a PDA, but was thinking of getting one to compliment my T68i; now I'm glad I went for my P800!
I think I'll run my P800 for another 12 months of so, giving time for its successor to be released, fall in price, and have it's bugs ironed out.
Buy a P800. And buy it now - you're missing out otherwise!!
Steven.

r these being corrected OR it's still the same .... & what is the latest sw ver that should be/or upgrade in the P800 if i buy it.? (how to check it?)
1 more, if I saved a *.html doc in the xternal memory can can it be view with the P800 browser.?

I doubt the P900 will hit the shelves this year. Maybe a very limited amount will make it for xmas but it is not even on the "coming soon" pages off SE.
The P800 is a perfect xample... We all remember that delayed release an all the annoying waiting.
