Imagine the terrible scenario :
Unfortunately (or stupidly) you lose (or break) your P800.
Fortunately you have a fresh backup.
Unfortunately you will not have a new P800 before days (or weeks, or months).
You want to use some of the files that where sitting in the phone's memory (other than the contacts, jotter, todo, that have - fortunately - been synced).
Is it possible to extract specific files from a P800 backup and use it on your PC without any available P800.

Just rename backup file located in C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Sony
Ericsson\backups\ to *.zip and extract them via winzip.
