Hi all,
Check out this wonderful link. Some guy who writes for the inquirer is finding it difficult to understand why the t610 is such a popular phone.

Midrange handset?? Yeah right!

Is he stupid or what ??? Joystick left takes you to "new message", joystick up takes you to the wap, joystick down it takes you to the phonebook..... Some guys are never happy

i dont think its to bad a review most points are favourable.he could have slagged off the poor pic quality of the camera or the poor screen in sunlight.the worst thing he said was about quickshare (WHICH HE WAS INCORRECT ABOUT).
However his comments about the screensaver hiding msgs etc is a very vaild point.
he describes it as a good work horse phone and i agree its a good all round moderate phone user phone.
if you want more from a phone you would need to get a p800 or 3650

Are ya blind?

Quote:The selection of built-in ring tones and message beeps is weak but that's probably because the operators want you to go onto their WAP sites and download the latest Pop tunes.

True. But we don't care! Because we aren't a stupid computer user as you are (aimed at the writer of this stupid article)! We can download free songs, free games, free everything! "Download?" "How do ya do that?"

Quote:A major gripe is the screen saver which hides vital messages such as missed call or received text message.

Hello, it's called a screensaver, what should it do?

Quote:Overall it's a mid range handset for those who just want a basic cameraphone.

Yeah and you are a low end writer for those ppl that are not looking behind the mountains...

Its a stunning phone.

Only 2 flaws are low-visibility in sun and the fact that the screen can get scratched easily.

Some people are never satisfied.

Shame the T620 and Z600 are here already.
T68 took ages to get updated.

I think the best part is the wonderful title... 'T610 - its just a basic work horse'... yeah right. Nokia phones deserve that title more than SE phones

nah a 'work horse' phone needs desent batterytime I haven't had a Nokia yet that had that so it couldn't deserve even that judgement.
imho.

Speaking about the screensaver, did you notice that when you get a voice message and then activate the vocal control, the screen saver doesn't completly stop?
I mean, I have a dark screen , and I can see underneath that there is something (voice control or msg), but I do not actually see it...

Anyone else experienced that?
