It does say in the manual "you should not charge the headset during a call. The call might be disconnected."
I'll take their word for it. I'm not that adventurous to try it out.

Well I just tried with my HBH-30.
During a call I plugged in the charger and the call continued although it was very hard to keep the headset near my ear with this cable hanging out!
I tried to place a call from the headset and also receive a call to the headset while it was already charging and the headset would not function at all.
I can't imagine ever wanting to take a call while the headset is charging... just use the handset!

u guys are real funny...
now, my HBH-60 battery juice suddenly ended, as well as the incoming call !!!!!!!!!!
in the manual says that u have 30 scs to hit enter before loosing the call...
what can be wrong??? heeeelp!!
