Is there anyway that I can email pics that I've taken with my T616 w/o using GPRS? I can access the web through my phone, but it isn't through GPRS (it's via dial-up). I tried sending a pic via email from my phone and it says that it couldn't connect to server. Does that mean I can only send pics if I have GPRS? Sorry if this is somewhat of a n00bie question, but I'd really appreciated the help. Thanks.

iīve never tried send mail with a GSM.
but it works with gprs.
it sounds like there is something wrong with your settings..
and why not use GPRS for wap
itīs not so expensive as gsm (most of the time)
do you have a pop3 mail ? or just a webmail?

@randomtask77:
If you have an internet dial-up account you can set it up on the phone and use that just like you use GPRS. The only difference is that you are charged for call time and not data transfer.

Well, it's cheaper for me to use dial-up than it is for GPRS. Plus my plan entails unlimited nights and weekends, which is why I chose dial-up over GPRS.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know what settings to change so that I may use my dial-up to connect rather than GPRS?

I wasn't questioning why you want to use GSM dial-up. I simply stated that it's possible to use WAP over GSM (not GPRS) and that different charges will apply...
To use GSM dial-up instead of GPRS, go to
Data Accounts and create a new data account. Choose
GSM Datainstead of GPRS. Enter the rest of the settings.
After you are done, go to
WAP options, choose your active profile (or create a new one), and set it up to use your new dial-up
Data Account. If you created a new WAP Profile, don't forget to make it active.
