Hi all, quicky for you, does anyone know how to disable the vodafone welcome message "How are you?". I have tried turning off messages and it is still there, I have tried creating a custom one and it just flashes before the vodafone one takes over. I know it ain't important but it is bugging the hell out of me!

Thanks guys

I've had various phone models on vodafone, both contract and pay-as-you-go, branded and unbranded, Sony Ericsson and other makes. Every one has this message, so I'm assuming it comes from the network rather than the phone and can't be got rid of.

hey i can disable it on my se v600i - its under menu --> settings --> display --> startup screen --> then choose which one you want - to be honest i kinda like the vodafone one on my phone - shows everyone its 3g if they start it up! - so i'm leaving mine alone for the moment, also i don't have a good one to replace it with!
