A website stated that they have become the P810 proto is that true and they also stated that some other organisations have become the P810. Is that true?

And is it possible to get the P810? (Like to buy a proto as was the same for the P800)

I think perhaps what Nils is trying to say is that some websites say they can sell the P810 prototype.

It's possible, because there are definately prototypes out there, however incredibly dodgy - no support, no warranty, no guarantee of not being blacklisted, and it'll probably cost a lot, and that's if you ever actually get what you pay for.

Either that, or he means that websites have been physically transforming in to the P810... which I don't beleive is possible

No not that they can sell them I mean:

Some websites (Like my-symbian) are possesing the P810
for developers use!

And what I want to know if it is possible just what was like with the P800 to by a pre-sale proto from Ericsson (Cos SE doens't sells prototypes)

Ahh, I see!

Well, if they say so, then I guess there isn't really any reason to doubt them... it doesn't really make much difference, as most of us know exactly what it looks like, the size, weight and specs.

And if they have one, it probably came from SE, but I doubt they actually own it, it's probably on a long term loan or something. I get the impression that's what happens to prototypes / pre releases.

Nils, some ppl in the industry, in the test field or well-established reviewers are offered those new phones to 'test out' so to speak.

Prototypes are not meant to be sold on the market. They sometimes become available but only at a very very very very high price. And they are still protitypes... meaning... things might change still.

If I were you... i wouldn't go look for prototypes. Without the contacts you'll never get your hands on one!
