some help is needed here please guys. no apps that i have installed can connect to the net via gprs i.e opera,worldmate etc although the internal browser can access the net and i can use opera when my phone is in the cradle via cable modem

2. Internet etc. use a GPRS data account which has an APN = 'wap', or 'wap.vodafone.co.uk' etc.
3. For Worldmate, and POP3 email etc., you need a second GPRS data account which has an APN = 'internet' AND your service provider needs to activate this APN for you.
