I have christersson phonebackup installed, but I can't backup the phonebook, only SMS!

I also like to know if there is software available to download pics from the T300 to pc!

I have a DCU-11 cable

The cable cannot be used for sending stuff from phone to PC, only PC to phone.

For phonebook management, try Float's Mobile Agent.
