Hello

I bought my T610 a few days ago and one of the important features that I noticed in T610 was battery (talk time - 14 Hrs and stand-by -350Hrs). Well that's a lot..
But now i'm disappointed because the battery goes in 2 days if I play about 2Hrs with games and cam, receive like 2/3 calls per day.

Anybody have the same problem or this is not a problem?

They base the standby time on minimum usage whereas what u are using the phone for is above minimum usage as playing games etc keeps the screen light on and key light on all the time. As for talk time, i dont have a problem with it as it seems to last for ages (but talking doesn't keep the illuminations on!.) The screen and camera are the real battery killers.

The type of battery that the T610 uses requires about 5-10 charges until it reaches full capacity.

Also if you have bluetooth turned on the standby-time will be reduced.

Also stated standby-times/talk-times are always maximum possible during perfect conditions.

When you actually use the screen the phone isn't in standby. Playing games requires also requires more power, and the cam probably uses even more power.

With my usage the phone lasts about 4-5 days with normal use and if I have bluetooth always turned on it lasts about 2-3 days.

well, another thing to take note...

if you are in an area where the signal is weak, the phone will need to actually boost its power during call...

I charged my battery like 14 hours the 3 first times.. and after that and a few normal charges the battery time is very good.

but i betcha if i test the stand-by time of the battery it will last about 3/4 days.. and i'm gonna test it!

I've been saying this since I joined Esato but what is this fascination with having a phone that can last days and days. Do not most people go home every night and can stick the phone on the charger? Surely its only an issue if the phone doesn't last a whole day based on your maximum usage?

As an emergency precaution I do carry a USB charger so I can plug into any PC to top up if needed but rarely use it.

@ jetson Fair enuff but if your going to do this then do it in about a week as the battery needs to be used for a bit before it reaches its full potential.
