My P800 has a different IMEI code than is written on the box...
I discovered it when I use a keygen... I filled in my IMEI code that I found with *#06#
Then I counted them on the screen and there where 17 digits.
And my box shows the same number but without the last 2!

Is that normal?

yes... IMEI is 15 digits... SE adds two more for its own use but I can't recall exactly why but it has been discussed here previously so I'll dig out a link for you if I can.

Ok well here are a few threads about it...

Was testing if the real product is worth buying!
But it isn't cos it aint working!

It's IrRemote but if I add my Sony HiFi nothing happens.. when I hit the volume button or some others also my both TV's (Samsung and Sony) do not respond!

you could test that on the trial version easily....

ive found that it doesnt work very well with the equipment i have in my house... but going round to my sisters house, ive found that it works on most of her stuff!.
which is annoying to say the least.

if you get the latest version it allows you to copy in the command files for the Philips Pronto.
As this fone will accept all remote controls due to its own learning nature, you should be to find the complete codes for all devices.

of the 15 items that have ir (not including phones) only 3 of them work with the standard codes,

as soon as i get round to it, i'm gonna do a hunt so all of them will work
Or should i be spending my free time in a slightly more productive manner???

i might just go for the 4 in my bedroom and 3 in the living room.
