Can someone please tell me the difference between Total irRemote and Psiloc irRemote ?

They're the same product. As of version 0.96 it was called Total irRemote.

I really dont know if they are different i thing the total ir is more programable it accepts new profiles for new tv etc.

My question is simple:
Does this work? I had a proggy on my iPaq that worked wonders, but I've formatted and installed linux after I got the P800. Could this be a replacement?

the program is really good.... you should try it... there is a trial version in psiloc's webstie and if your device is not supported there are some ilnks provided by psiloc to load devices in your P800

how do u program total ir remote to make it work? i got as far as choosing manufacturer name, and device type. But none of the buttons work, is there something i need to do? Thanks!
