> T610 Call Waiting BUG

My room mate and i both use a T610. He use's Optus, i use Vodafone. When he is on a call and another call comes in, he press's ANSWER and the phone does not react, so he can not answer a 2nd call but he can press Busy.
I do not have this problem.
The only difference between the two phones is that his phone displays Line 1 in use, mine doesnt. Which i guess means Optus sim cards can manage 2 phone lines??
Hopefully a software upgrade will fix this.

depends on your plan whether they support call waiting, call diverting, etc
also on the phones call diverting settings whether call waiting is turned on
check your manual
i am with optus but due to my plan i can't have call waiting
but on my aapt/vodaphone sim i can

yes, but his call waiting worked fine prior to putting his sim card into the T610. He could successfully use Call Waiting on his Nokia 6510.

could be the call waiting on his t610 is not yet activated ... he might want to check the phone settings

call waiting has definately been activated via the T610.
Can Release & Answer, and Busy, but can not Answer 2nd call.

Turn off the line 1 or line 2 in use, it should fix your problem.
