Anyone experienced this? I can't send any SMS coz it tells me to go to Messaging and to add something in the SMS tab. But since it's grayed out, i can't add anything...

I had this when i accidently deleted my sms messaging settings. You have to call your service provider (in my case Orange in the UK) and they will send you a data txt message with all the details in it. Just follow the prompts in the message and your texting functionality will be back.

My provider doesn't have that feature. (Lousy Globe).

It's just that i accidentally pressed a master reset.app. From inside file manager itself.

Anyway, i'll just try to restore from a backup of my phone.

THanks again for the help.

Just try to get a hold of any phone with a globe network (shouldnt be that hard) and input the message settings into your phone.

How did it go have you got your SMS setting back? It is a bit rubbish that your provider can't sent out a text message, but like the above post says you should be able to get these setting from them (or someone ) and put them in yourself.

Hope you sorted it out.

It happened to me when i decided to clean my phone of "junk" files. Just do a master reset and then a restore and everything will be OK.

You can get SonyEricsson to send you the SMS settings for most maor phone operators.

Although I'm not sure if they will get through if you can't access your SMS file.
Why not get them sent to a friends phone who can then IR ot bluetooth the settings to you, or even copy the details manually.

Good luck
