I'm guessing you guys don't realise that SE is recalling lots of their chargers at the moment so:

Sorry about that. Looked back a bit but didn't see any threads. I let this die now then.

ok - well while we're on the subject, I found this...

As has been mentioned elsewhere on this forum, there has been a product recall at sonyericsson due to 's.e.c.s'. It seems sonyericsson has given 's.e.c.s' to a large number of dealers and customers recently, and we're all left wondering what to do. Personally, I've only had 's.e.c.s' once, and some dealers I know have never had 's.e.c.s' at all, but what worries me is my customers. From what i gather, a lot of them are having 's.e.c.s,' in fact, some of them could be having 's.e.c.s' right now!

I must admit, I don't fully understand 's.e.c.s,' it was briefly explained by a female business manager, but until she can come round and give me a live demonstration of 's.e.c.s,' i'll stay cautious. And I advise you to be cautious, if ever you see anyone inserting their infected unit into a someone's socket, stop them! and ask: "OI! do you want to have 's.e.c.s?'

s.e.c.s occurs when you slip your infected unit into a socket. In time your unit will become so hot that it explodes. Should this occur, it is strongly advisable not to touch it.

By the way, if you have a customer in the shop asking you for help with a problem they are having with s.e.c.s, it's worth telling them that orange themselves have an information line; 08000790151. This line is known as the 'Orange Recall Action Line for Sonyericsson Exploding Charger Syndrome' (O.R.A.L S.E.C.S). However, after twelve o'clock, it's known as the 'AfterNoon Action Line for Sonyericsson Exploding Charging Syndrome' (A.N.A.L S.E.C.S)

So remember, o.r.a.l s.e.c.s in the morning, a.n.a.l s.e.c.s in the
afternoon.

By the way, if any of you feel left out because you've not yet had s.e.c.s, you can quite easily simulate s.e.c.s. Simply take your unit in one hand, and pull hard on your wire until your contents spill out over the floor. This is a far safer method of s.e.c.s, despite past health scares about too much simulated s.e.c.s causing blindness.

I was gonna gloss over the T-mobile Information Team for Sonyericsson, (t.i.t.s) but how many s.e.c.s lines do you need?

I've also deliberately neglected to mention a pamphlet being distributed by hutchinson, entitled 'S.E.C.S IS EASIER WITH 3' cos that's taking things too far...
