I just received my new T610, I LOVE it. Does anyone know if it is true that on Fido, Vancouver BC area, that you can not download via WAP?
I have a Data cable and have been able to download lots of polyphonic ringtones and images, which is so frickin' cool, but the picture messaging option?
I am brand new to the forums so go easy on me, Please!

In case there are no forum members on the same network as you, the best way to find out information regarding your service provider would be to contact their helpdesk/customer care dept from your mobile. These calls are usually free of charge. This message was posted from a WAP device

The above link should help you with your question. I do think, however, that you CAN download as GPRS is merely a connection to the internet. This means that once you are able to go to the WAP site, you can access all the allowed services in the said WAP site, including downloads.
