Looks like the spring mechanism has gone in the flip and it just hangs there limply.

I like to use the flip to protect the screen but it doesn't close anymore.

Does anyone know if you can get a spare one in the UK at present. I know this has been discussed before and no-one could seem to get one.

My local SE service centre is CPW and they're totally utterly USELESS.

Any suggestions welcome.

Use the phone without the flip............

It does the same job.

If that was the case, I wouldn't be posting, would I?

It does the same (??), but certainly not that easy!
For example : try to type a number with only one hand free...(no possibility to use the pen, and gsm in your hand) like i do in my car or on my bike

And the flip is also a good protection of the screen in fact....

But i admit the look is better without the flip

Or as good at Football !!!

We're having a laugh Peter !!!

I've tried with the flip off but it's easier to dial numbers and lock the phone when you're on the move.
