The T230 comes with a second speaker and supports 32 simultaneous notes, which gives it an excellent polyphonic sound performance. Polyphonic sound is used for ringtones as well as in the games. Make the phone sound just like you want it - it is even possible to record your own voice and use it as a ring signal.

does this mean the T230 has speakerphone function? i have never as far as i can remember seen a mobilephone with that capability without offering speakerphone function as well
i emailed
support in sweden and asked and as expected they didnt know anything, and lacked the capability to find someone who did..
on the Z600 pages theres no info on handsfree mode but that model has it, could this mean that the T230 also has it?

neither of those models have handsfree speaker mentioned in there official pages, but i know for a fact that one of them has(Z600)
and classes, the alcatel 311 and siemens A55/2 has handsfree speaker and they are in the lowest of classes, well below the T230, so that argument is more like saying that if you buy a
phone you wont get as much functions as if you buy another brand, and that isnt a good argument, if your goal isnt to make
look like a cheap brand that is trying to cheat its customers out of basic functions, and has no intention to change and uppgrade their models basic functions

well, if thats your opinion i guess you really hate all speculations on this forum that excists from the day a model is first seen until the day its out on the market?
the reason im wondering is that im thinking of buying a new phone, and handsfree speaker is a feature i require, and if the T230 doesnt have it i will probably buy a siemens, but if it infact does, i could wait until the T230 is out for sale and buy that phone instead

I don't, and will not make any claims until this is confirmed one way or another.
pages don't mention a speakerphone on T230
There is no mention of speakerphone on T230 elsewhere, so I assume there is none, until proved otherwise.
You are entitled to your own opinion just as much as I am entitled to mine. I suppose I am very sceptical to all the roumors that go around these forums.

If presence of a speaker phone is very important to you, it's just another reason to try to find out from
. I have seen a lot of rumours and not many of them are very correct especially when it comes to details.
As a matter of fact, a lot of these rumours start by some person making a guess, then others reading it and taking it for a fact, and then repeating it...

I'm going with wrath on this one. Anything besides official releases is pure speculation. Plus, no matter how reliable Eldar's information are, there are some serious inconsistencies between his reviews and the specifications released so far by SE.
