on my p800 in certain screens where the is something written say for instance when i click on my clock to view the time/date etc the date will be written like this
13the Sep 2--- where are the rest of the numbers in the year?
also in other screens its the same the last few charcters of names etc are missing?
like in the main page of messaging my email account says Vodaf---
can anyone help me out here?

i only got the phone back today after a firmware upgrade and the problem is still there, didnt notice till i got home..i upgraded for other reasons and just presumed that problem would've been fixed

It could be a SIM card / Network operator thing. The fact that Vodafone is being blocked out might be indicating this. Does the problem persist with other SIM chips?
BTW - I doubt very much that this is the problem and if it is - its still very weird!!
Otherwise it seems as though there is a problem with the phone's fonts - tho a master reset / flash shud have changed this!

no the phone was like that when i had R1d or whatever that firmware was, and when i got the phone back a few days ago with the brand new firmware R2D02 the problem was still there?? and i hadnt installed anything? its there no matter what sim i use its really annoying
