> T610 Voice Notes (where is "Unsent folder")
Bookmark topic
First of all, it doesn't seem like there is a whole lot of information available in the manual about Voice Notes. They don't even show that icon or menu on page 12 (Menu Overview.) Can anyone tell me where to find more info on this?
When I don't save a voice note, it says "saved to Unsent folder". Where is this on the phone?
I think I have R1B firmware.

On my :seT610 I record sounds under the "Pictures & Sounds" menu. When the recording is finished it saves it to ""My Sounds". I don't have the option to save the file or send it, it just gets saved when I press "Stop".
I'm using the R1L software.
Hope this helps
Did you try looking in the MMS and SMS "Unsent Items"?

Okay actually, yeah. Thanks, I did find it in messaging, but in the picture menu. That's weird.
Messaging -> Picture -> Unsent
That seems like an odd place for an unsaved voice note to go.
Can anyone direct me to more information about voice notes? Am I missing something in the manual or is there just no info on it?

I have no idea why it goes to unsent?? That seems silly.
SE call it 'sound recorder' (not voice), if you look that up in the

manual it's pages 74-75, but there isn't really any more there than masseur suggested... Have to say (apart from bluetooth) it was one of the most useful features on my T68

No, it says "Voice Notes"
It is the icon in the upper left corner of the main menu. When I click on it, it says, "Recording" and shows a timer along with an option to "Stop" (right-hand select button). I press "Stop" and then it shows a menu named "Send to" with the options like this:
Email Address
Phone Number
Phone Book
SIM Entries
Unsaved Numbers
When I press the "back" key. It says "saved in Unsent folder"
I have T-Mobile, maybe it's a preset shortcut or something. I don't know what it is. Manual pg 74-75 is the voice recorder. "Voice Notes" works differently from "Record Sound"
Thanks for any input.

Does anyone have the Voice Notes icon? Does anyone have documentation for it?

You'd better ask someone on the same network or check T-mobile's own literature - that slot on the menu is used for operator specific services on the phones i've seen (with unbranded R1A firmware it is access to

). How is voice notes different to sound recorder apart from having the send options on the same menu?

Do you have a custom firmware?
What happens is this:
When you choose that function the phone goes to MMS (Templates -> Recording). In there, you basically get to record a voice note and then send it via MMS. If you exit before sending, the MMS will get saved to MMS unsent folder.
If you want to record a voice note for yourself (not to send via MMS or to add it to MMS later), go to "Pictures and sounds" -> Voice Recorder. When you record a voice note from there, it will be saved in your "My sounds" folder.

Oh okay. I see. I guess it is some kind of T-Mobile customization. I'll take a look around there and see what I can find. Thanks for your time.
