I've heard several times, and believe it's true of all Li batteries, that it does a world of good to run them to 0% before recharging every now and again. I've always done this with PDA and cells, and I've never had the issues all my buds have had.
HOWEVER, I'm too scared to let my P800 run to 0%. What will happen? Will I get corruptions? Will it blank my memeroy, in which case will a restore do a perfect job? Please let me know if you've done this and how it all went.

Very good to do that one in a while... no problem and the battery will stay longer after that.

No, it isn't good for Li-Ion & Li-Pol batteries, there is no need to discharge them completely. It is good only for old Ni-Cd and Ni-Mh batteries, because they have a \"memory effect\". This message was posted from a R520

yeah but if you do that and the battery f**ks up SE will just say you fried your battery we recommend you only recharge the battery only when its in the 15% range. i tend to stick to that rule and its goin fine for me

Nope, Lithium polymer batteries can be topped up anytime. Whoever says otherwise doesn't know the difference between Li-Poly and NiCd.

Sure.. that's true..but it is theorie... practicly, you will see the power staying longer if you just let once in a while the P800 on till battery is empty.

I tested it and it's right....
